Surah Ar-Rahman adalah surah ke-55 dalam al-Qur'an. Surah ini tergolong surat makkiyah, terdiri atas 78 ayat. Dinamakan Ar-Rahmaan yang berarti Yang Maha Pemurah berasal dari kata Ar-Rahman yang terdapat pada ayat pertama surah ini. Ar-Rahman adalah salah satu dari nama-nama Allah. Sebagian besar dari surah ini menerangkan kepemurahan Allah swt. kepada hamba-hamba-Nya, yaitu dengan memberikan nikmat-nikmat yang tidak terhingga baik di dunia maupun di akhirat nanti.

Sūrat ar-Raḥmān (Arabic: سورة الرحمن‎, "The Most Merciful") is the 55th sura of the Qur'an with 78 ayats.

Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has said that reciting this surah on Friday after the dawn prayers carries great reward. Surah as-Rahman removes hypocrisy from one’s heart.

On the Day of Judgement, this surah will come in the shape of a human being who will be handsome and will have a very nice scent. Allah (s.w.t.) will then tell him to point out those people who used to recite this surah and he will name them. Then he will be allowed to beg pardon for those whom he names and Allah (s.w.t.) will pardon them.

The Imam (a.s.) also said that if a person dies after reciting this surah, then is considered a martyr. Writing this surah and keeping it makes all difficulties and problems vanish and also cures eye ailments. Writing it on the walls of a house keeps away all types of household pests. If recited at night, then Allah (s.w.t.) sends an angel to guard the reciter until he wakes up and if recited in the daytime then an angel guards him until sunset.

Surat ar-Rahman (arabo: سورة الرحمن, "il Misericordioso") è la sura 55 ° del Corano con 78 ayats.

L'Imam (a.s.) anche detto che se una persona muore dopo aver recitato questa sura, quindi è considerato un martire. Scrivere questo sura e mantenendo rende tutte le difficoltà ei problemi svaniscono e cure anche disturbi oculari. Scriverlo sui muri di una casa tiene lontano ogni tipo di parassiti domestici. Se recitata durante la notte, allora Allah (s.w.t.) manda un angelo a guardia della voce recitante fino a quando non si sveglia e se recitato durante il giorno poi un angelo lo custodisce fino al tramonto.
